The Infinity Summer

I knew I wanted to do two things in 2022. I wanted to hike the Pacific Northwest Trail. And I wanted to hike the Hayduke Trail. I began my year with this thought in mind, and built out a plan, sometimes on the fly, to hike from April through November. I called it the Infinity Summer because I knew it would probably end up being 6 trails, like the 6 infinity stones in Marvel's Infinity War before their movies turned to crap.

When I began the year, I had no intention of hiking the Colorado Trail, and I didn't even know what the Bigfoot Trail was. But it all came down to logistics on the fly and trying to hike in the right parts of the country given the time of the year.
