Day 107

Day 107 (cdt 32): 22 miles

Finally had a shorter day to finish up this stretch of the cdt. But Mother Nature didn’t let me go out easy. The past few days the weather has been pretty good, not super warm but it’s been fine. Today there were times when I would be walking and the wind would basically stop me in my tracks. I’m guessing it had to be gusting at 50-60 mph but I can’t say for sure. All I know is it was windy as hell.

I ended the cdt at monarch pass in Colorado. 784 miles hiked on the cdt. That leaves a little under 2,000 miles left on the official cdt (cdt mileages can differ a lot due to alternates). 2,470 miles total hiked so far

Tomorrow I’m flying out of Denver to start the pct soon. I’ve been excited for this whole trip but I’m especially excited for the pct. I was supposed to do it last year but with the whole apocalypse thing it didn’t happen. Gonna be an epic revenge tour
