Day 92
April 7, 2021

Day 92 (cdt17): 26 miles + 1 bonus mile for the post office
Woke up warm and ready to go in the privy at the campground I stayed at last night. Easy 11 mile road walk to subway, downed 2 subs. Brutal 7 mile road walk straight into 30mph wind to grants post office, got my new tripod and food resupply. The wind was completely draining. I loitered in the family restroom for a half hour at the grocery store enjoying the climate control.
The last few miles of the day I actually got back to hiking on dirt instead of road. I left grants and am heading up to mount Taylor. From afar, it looks like there is only a little snow but we’ll see what that reality is tomorrow.
Added up my miles today during some downtime and today i just passed 2,100.
In the last hour of the day my stomach started tying itself in knots, could be a long night
Song of the day: BYOB-system of a down
Taking a look at my songs of the day from the last week is a pretty good sense of the diversity of my musical pallet
Spent quite a bit of time trying to find a flat area to camp that wasn’t covered in rocks or small cacti. After about 30 minutes I found a spot with only a few dirt mounds in it
