Day 172 (CT 10)

Day 172 (CT 10): 32 miles

Pretty boring day. I really forgot how boring this section of trail was from last year. I must’ve just been so elated from connecting my CDT steps at monarch pass that I cruised for days without realizing how boring this area was.

I ran into a thru hiker a met in Maine last year when we were both close to finishing in different directions. And I talked to another hiker for like 20 minutes while taking a break. Pretty mellow day.

The only positive is that there is a lot of tree cover so I had a little more protection from the sun today. My arms are super sunburnt. My faces feels like it a little bit. And my lips are cracking.

Song of the day: you’re never over-Eminem
