Day 175 (CT 13)

Day 175 (CT 13): 32 miles

Who’s up for a little challenge?! I’ve decided to give myself a possible but tough goal/challenge/race to finish the rest of the Colorado Trail. I worked it out so Tonight I’m camping exactly 159.4 miles from the finish. For my idea, I need 160 miles, but I’m sure I’ll add .6 somewhere.

I am inventing and gonna try a little four-day fortay foray or 4x4x40. I’m not sure which one I’ll Ike better yet.

4 days. 4 nights. 40 miles each. Or at least averaging 40 miles, cause it’s impossible to do 40 every day unless I did EXACTLY 40 miles given the limitations of how math and numbers work.

It’s possible that I may have unknowingly done this sometime in the past 2 years, but I doubt it. Mid to uppers 30’s is where I feel like it starts to affect the next day for me. That number is different for everyone.

Well that’s it. That’s the plan for the 4x4x40. Wendy’s ain’t got shit on me.

With that plan in mind, this was one of the rare days on trail where I had a set destination (160 miles from the finish).
