Day 209 (HDT 25): .1 miles

We walked to the highway which was immediately beside our camp and began hitching in the morning. This was a busy road, and allegedly an easy hitch, but we waited for over 90 minutes before we got a ride.

Got McDonald’s (1 bacon egg and cheese sandwich, 4 McDoubles, a large fry, and about 7 large Dr peppers. It was good and we killed some time there, but had instant regret when I walked outside and saw a pizza buffet across the street. What a fool!

Went to the grocery store and bought 7.5 days of food. It came out to around $150 so it seemed about right. But we shall see. (I don’t measure calories or plan food by day. I just go off feel.)

God bless Roadway Inn. This was the first hotel I’ve ever had for UNDER $50. Truly incredible. And it didn’t even have mice. What a bonus.

Then I celebrated spooky szn as much as I could by watching hostel (different than most hostels I’ve been to) and Barbarian (best horror movie I’ve seen since Sinister came out).
