Day 126

Day 126 (pct 16): 30 miles

The morning was a quick 11 miles to a fire closure and road walk detour. I passed by “the horde,” which is a group of like 30 hikers going and camping together. Too much planning for my liking.

I got to hikertown at a decent time and hung out there for a few hours. It was a really cool place and definitely one I could’ve spent more time at. I even got a free shower. I was planning on getting some sleep there and leaving to hike the LA aqueduct around midnight but the sleep didn’t happen cause I wanted to socialize with other hikers there and a lot of people got going around 7 so I ended up giving into peer pressure and leaving around 8.

Thank you to all who donated! It ended up being around $200 but I wasn’t gonna drink 2 beers like a chump so I grabbed a 4 loko for the aqueduct walk.

Passed an altered (cause of the fire closure) 500 mile marker today
