Day 154

I figured after drinking some 40s yesterday I had to hike a 40 today

Day 154 (pct 44): 41 miles

I got a real real early start to the day and even though my feet still didn’t feel great they felt a lot better. Tomorrow I will get my new shoes so hopefully they’ll improve without fungus inside the shoe like I think my current pair has.

It was another really windy day. There was a decent amount of exposed sections so the wind was brutal at times. All day I never really felt warm cause of the wind, even a little chilly at times in the middle of the day.

I reallly don’t wanna jinx it but a pcta volunteer told me I’d probably see lots of snakes in Northern California. Thankfully I haven’t seen one yet and hope that continues.

I’m really hoping my feet can get back to 100% soon and I can start crushing more days like today (but with less pain) to get back on schedule.

It’s been really warm at night late but I think it’s supposed to get back down to the low 20s the next couple nights.
