Day 155

Day 155

Day 155 (pct 45): 37 miles

It was a little chilly in the morning but I still it a good start to the day. I got my new shoes which I was excited for and my repaired shirt after a tree ripped a large hole in it. I felt like a kid on the first day of school with my new outfit. I also finally got some fudge rounds after craving them for over a month. Apparently nowhere in California has ever heard of them smh

My feet were feeling a lot better today and the miles were flying by. I also got a burst of energy when I ran into a few day hikers and it was modelo time. I talked to them for a little bit while drinking a brew and then continued on my way.

The weather was a little strange and the clouds were intimidating all day. It was windy again and I had my coat on most of the day but would switch back and forth between being chilly and then being warm and sweating, mostly depending on how strong the wind was in that area. Later in the day I started to get some snow flurries which I’m a little surprised at since it’s June. But then at the end of the day as I was struggling to find a spot to set up camp it really started coming down. These were massive snowflakes and it didn’t take a lot of them for something to get wet. They’re currently causing my tent to sag pretty far down at my head and toes areas.

My lotramin is just about gone so I hope my feet don’t relapse cause I’m not sure when I’ll cross a town with a pharmacy again.

Song of the day: trippin on a hole in a paper heart-stone temple pilots
