Day 181

Day 181 (pct 71): 1 mile

It was a relaxing morning not having to get up and try to get moving as soon as possible. We ended up getting up around 8 cause the sun started cooking us in our tents. We got to the road shortly after and it took a little over 90 minutes to get a hitch into Sisters and then like 5 minutes to get a hitch to Bend. We’ll be taking a bus from Bend tomorrow to get around a fire closure.

After resupplying we went to a sports bar and had a very poor dining experience. I’m a pretty positive guy but how are you gonna be a sports bar that is out of wings and only had 10 inch pizzas. I also only got 1 refill in the 2+ hours that we were there. Quite the vibe check

When we got back to the hostel it was shower and laundry time. It was much needed. I also trimmed my nails for the first time in almost 4 weeks. It was time for the coke nails to go

The rest of the day was pretty chill, mostly just lounged around and downed a 12 pack of Mountain Dew voltage (bless you Bend for having it)
