Day 113 (PNT 18)

Day 113 (PNT 18): 34 miles

It was cloudy most of the day which felt amazing. It was still warm but it felt significantly better without the sun beating down on me all day.

Other than that it was a pretty uneventful day. It was a road walk all day which I liked cause it was easy but kinda boring. I got some water from a spigot at a forest fire station. A fireman showed up while I was there and told stories for a while which was nice to pass the time while I was chugging water.

There were a lot of roaming cows today in the section which I haven’t seen in a while. There was a group of 30 calves all together which was adorable. Also saw a lot of deer.

A few raindrops even fell today and for I think the first time ever while hiking I was welcoming it to cool me down after being constantly so hot lately. Like Chazz Michael Michaels at the kid’s skating show “LET IT RAIN DOWN ON ME” but alas it never actually did.

Song of the day: the question-mac Miller and lil Wayne
