Day 117 (PNT 22)

Day 117 (PNT 22): 27 miles

Got a ride back to trail and covered ground quickly. There were a couple bushwhack sections that had easy dirt road alternates. I assume the “official” trail might be a little more scenic, but I’d rather just do the easier road walk around walking through brush.

The day was almost all dirt road walking similar to the trail after Northport but I don’t mind I all all. I can turn on some music or podcasts and fly all day.

And that I did. I covered the 27 miles so fast that I headed back into Republic and double dipped on the town. This is pretty out of character for me but I was just feeling it. And after the next town of Oroville, it’ll be hard to spend money on the trail when I’m in the remote Pasayten and cascades. Just trying to chill out a little and gear up before then.
