I did not plan to stay in Oroville for this long. I was waiting on a pair of shorts that I thought would come early but instead was delayed. I try to avoid indecent exposure when I can, but now I just wish I would’ve trucked forward with a huge hole in my shorts. I could probably be at Ross Lake already.

I strongly disliked having to wait around that long, but after a couple days I did meet some other hikers in town. 2 that I had been seeing in towns, Matt and Tweedy, but also Lucky Duck, Bachus and a few section hikers. It was fun hanging out in the final rest stop before hopping in the Pasayten. It also helped that it was affordable and probably the best trail hotel I’ve stayed at while hiking.

While in town I also binge watched most of Better Call Saul. I don’t know why I waited so long. Also I need to get up to some more chicanery

Also I saw some preseason football on tv and got absolutely jacked. Football is coming
