Day 13

All commas, no periods, all stops, no stays

Day 13: 20 miles

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hostel but can’t get too used to that. I can’t stay in one place for too long with my goals for this year. Well mostly for my goals but I also don’t need the feds catching wind of my whereabouts. I may or may not have used limewire back in the day.

I got a late start to the day cause I was waiting for the post office to open and the rain to die down. I didn’t get out of there until 11 but I did avoid getting rained heavily on for the day. I was hot most of the day cause it was in the 60s and when it would start sprinkling I’d put my rain gear on and didn’t want to stop to take it off again shortly after.

Wow what a difference summer vs winter makes. Today I passed what was on of the most serene places I’ve seen 2 years ago when I first saw it. It’s a pond near hot springs with evergreens all around it and in the summer it was amazing, but now everything was dead and it didn’t look very impressive.

My stomach was in a knot all day today which hallowed me down. It was probably from eating greasy bar food yesterday instead of eating basically the same thing everyday out here.
