Day 14

Day 14

Day 14: 23 miles

The morning was very foggy after it had just rained all night. I passed some of my favorite sleeper spots from previous hikes but with the weather there were no views available.

I was walking, or trying to avoid walking, in puddles most of the morning. During or after heavy rains water will just sit in the lower areas of the trail without many options to avoid it.

For the first time ever I ran out of toilet paper. It’s time to get real natural

Overall a pretty mediocre day. Not a lot of views and my stomach is still giving me some fits. Supposed to get some rain tomorrow and then a few inches of snow overnight

I guess I passed the 300 mile Mark sometime today.

Weather: 50s and humid

Song of the day: Only-Nicki Minaj
The timing was impeccable on big butt mountain
