Day 27

Day 27

Day 27: 42 miles

Simple and plain: this was a work day. This was an earn it day. I started out reenergized and refreshed from the motel and I was ready to roll. The one good thing about not having many vistas or great views is that I don’t have to stop and waste time to take pictures. Gotta look at the bright side.

The day was about half and half of walking in ankle deep snow and walking in mostly normal conditions. Being in snow most of the last week has changed me. Now I feel like I’m flying on normal ground. Practice harder than you play.

I realize the videos of my feet while hiking might be nausea inducing but I just wanted to capture the difference on the ground and there wasn’t a lot going on today.

I’ve seen a couple signs for a mountain lion in the area so maybe I’ll get to meet Steve French face to face.

Song of the day: Lifeline-Papa Roach
