Day 32

Day 32: 9 miles
I got up at 4:30 after failing to do so multiple times so far. I knew I was going to do a NERO (near zero meaning a very short day) and rest up a little, but mostly dry up in Daleville, which I think is my all time favorite name for a town now.
It’s raining all day today and looks like it might quite a bit this week. Hopefully the weather boys are incompetent as usual.
Today might’ve answered the question of whether or not a tree makes a sound if it falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it. I saw and heard one fall this morning but I guess that only counts if I am no one like Arya. Separately, a small tree branch also fell and hit me, thankfully it wasn’t very big or that could’ve been bad. Big tree day
My body has definitely changed after a month of being out here. I don’t look at myself much but when I got to the motel and looked in the mirror, damn. I look good. I don’t think it’s time for another thirst trap yet but I’ve definitely lost a good amount of body fat and my legs might start photosynthesizing soon they’re resembling tree trunks so much.
The highlight of my day was catching one of the greatest movies of all time on tv-The Green Mile. “He killed em with they love. That’s how it is, everyday, all over the world.” Rip Michael Clark Duncan what a performance. I think I’ve been getting a lot of dust in my eyes lately or something cause they started watering.
