Day 46

Day 46

Day 46: 33 miles

Last night I got my first kill. A mouse was flying a little too close to the sun and got got. 2 more and I get a UAV. Last night was also a letdown with the precipitation. It was supposed to rain all night however that rain was mostly snow and ice. It just don’t stop.

It then rained into the morning today and was cloudy all day. I would frequently go back and forth from too hot to too cold. I layer and delayer throughout the day but this was excessive. I just couldn’t get that Goldilocks level.

I crossed the Mason-Dixon today and am back home in the Union. I liked Maryland. It was the easiest state so far by a large margin. I also like Pennsylvania since I only have a little bit of it left.

Lately towns have been much more frequent. My recent and upcoming resupplies are only for one day then I can get into a other town and go again. This is helping me keep my pack weight down and definitely helping me move a little faster even in the snow and slush.
